As we have several staff that are clinically vulnerable, we kindly ask that you continue to wear a mask when visiting us in person.
Thank you for your continued support.
April Lodge Guinea Pig Rescue was established in 2004 and we have cared for over 2000 unwanted guinea pigs. We’re proud to say that over 1500 of these went on to be adopted and over 100 went into foster care. We endeavour to find our guinea pigs kind, loving, permanent homes following a poor start in life.

Please do not apply to adopt if our criteria can’t be met. If you do not meet the criteria or are out of our area we will be unable to respond. We also can’t conduct video or zoom home checks and will only be able to proceed if we have an available home visitor in your area.
If you’re looking for a companion for your recently bereaved piggy, then we’re sorry but we are only doing introductions to adopters previously known to us.
