The idea of hutch sponsorship was put to us by a recently bereaved pet owner, who wanted to do something to remember her guinea pig. We suggested sponsoring a hutch in the Lodge and she was delighted. The donation paid for a new hutch and a gold coloured metal plaque. Her plaque read “This Hutch is Sponsored by J. Rogers in Memory of Ginger, Dover. 2004 – 2010” and is a permanent fixture. The image opposite shows an example of a sponsored hutch.
